Three record types. All checked live.
Set up sending on your own domain
Choose your own Amazon SES or managed sending, add the records shown, and start once every check turns green.
Why it works
Made for the way you sell
Your SES or ours
Bring a send-only key and Amazon bills you directly, or skip AWS and let AMIQ run sending with warm-up.
Records prepared for you
With your key, AMIQ creates the domain in your SES, sets the bounce subdomain and lists every record.
Keys handled with care
Each key is checked with Amazon first, encrypted at rest, and limited to sending and reading account status.
Other providers
Prefer Postmark, Mailgun, SendGrid, Brevo, Resend or SMTP2GO? Add any of them and set your default.
How it goes
Three steps, start to file
Pick who sends
Your own Amazon SES account, another provider, or managed sending with no AWS account.
Add your domain
Add three DKIM CNAMEs, MX and SPF on a bounce subdomain, and one DMARC record to your DNS.
Verify and connect
Each record is checked live. Then create an API key so your LMS can post new leads.
The details
- Own Amazon SES: 3 credits (₹1.50 in India) per 1,000 emails; Amazon bills about $0.10 to $0.16 per 1,000 directly
- Managed sending: 130 credits (₹65 in India) per 1,000 emails, Amazon included, with warm-up
- Records: 3 DKIM CNAMEs, MX and SPF on a bounce subdomain, 1 DMARC TXT
- New SES accounts start in the sandbox: verified addresses only, 200 emails per 24 hours, 1 per second
- DKIM usually verifies within minutes, at most 72 hours
- Production access is typically approved within a day or two
- Hands-on time: roughly one hour, then waits for DNS and Amazon's review
Questions
Asked before you start
Do I need DNS records with managed sending?
Yes. Mail always leaves from your domain, so the same set applies: three DKIM entries, MX and SPF on a bounce subdomain, and DMARC. Setup lists the values and confirms each in real time.
Are my Amazon SES keys safe?
We validate each key with Amazon, store it encrypted and use it for sending and status checks only. Create a send-only key, and revoke it here or in AWS IAM whenever you like.
Does anything change on my website?
No. The records go into your domain's DNS settings, not your website's code. Your website and office email keep working as before.
What is the SES sandbox?
A starter mode for new accounts: mail goes only to addresses you have verified, capped at 200 a day and one a second. Ask Amazon for production access before mailing customers.
Which AWS region should I choose?
Pick the one nearest your audience; for India, Asia Pacific (Mumbai), ap-south-1. Limits and verified domains belong to a single region, so stay in it throughout.
Is a dedicated IP worth it?
Rarely. Most senders do fine on shared addresses. A dedicated IP pays off only at heavy daily volume, and needs weeks of warm-up.
